Joey Braun has one year of formal film education, but has been experimenting for much longer. He has worked as the Director of Photography for several student films, including Day 387 (2024), Savory Skirmish (2023), and a shot-for-shot remake of The Weeknd's Blinding Lights music video. Day 387 (2024) was awarded the Los Altos High School "2024 Film of the Year" award. He has also participated on set as a lighting technician, drone operator, audio technician, and set designer, notably with Los Altos High School's "Greenthumb Productions" team. Joey's films have received over 20,000 collective views on his Instagram page.
